The Orb Group OSC has continued monitoring and confirmed that all Linear streams have remained stable since the initial interruption. This incident is considered resolved, and we will continue to monitor the footprint for any abnormalities in linear streaming traffic. Investigation into the RCA remains open with partner vendors, and we will share findings with stakeholders once they are available.

Update:
From 17:54 - 18:01 EST, a linear streaming interruption resulted in a high number of terrestrial contribution streams being switched over to the National Feed. The Orb OSC has confirmed that all affected Linear streams have restored as of 18:01 EST, and we are monitoring all streams for stability.
For PBS Member Station Platform Streaming, if a failover to the National feed took place, your site can now switch back to your local feed via PBS LLS Admin Console. Please notify any streaming providers that the local feed has been restored, if needed.
A root cause analysis is currently underway and will be shared in upcoming communications.

Investigating
Interconnection Service Recipients,
Beginning at 18:00 EST, a high number of sIX Linear Feeds were interrupted. Impacted Linear Streams have been failed over to the National feed.
Investigation is ongoing with all streaming partners and vendors engaged. A follow-up message will be sent when the interruption is resolved. Once the outage has resolved, stations may switch back to their local feed via the PBS LLS Admin Console if a failover to the National feed took place.
After resolution, a root cause analysis will be performed and be shared in follow-up communications.
